It all started at least 20 year back with one of my leg was swollen with pain.
I was admitted for my appendicitis treatment and on last day this swelling took place. I was moved to a better bigger hospital and all research begun.
The doctor pointed out that I have blood clotting disorder and must be put on blood thinner.
The journey began and is going on till today, with support from health care specialist
I do not know from where and how I m getting strength to fight out and come out victorious everytime. It is almost 8 times I had serious health issue and was in hospital with few times in ICU. but I think I had inherited the fighting attitude with never to give up approaches from my late father and lovely mother, to add I get a strong support from wife and elder brother.
Midway I had given up to an extent where I requested my brother to enroll me to "DIGNITAS" a respectful death program somewhere I heard about it...I was totally exhausted seeing my family suffering because of me and I was helpless in everything.but trust me if you decide to fight out to live the only life we get nothing is possible. So those like me do not give up...every problem our destiny has a plan with solution. Trust yourself, believe your medical help and go for it...friends just 1 life we get and we do not owe to live unhappy. Try to find happiness within unhappy situations and things would be alright soon.
My partner being my constant encouraging and some willpower inherited I keep coming back on my feet.
My elder brother being inquisitive about my health issues , doing always a supportive research on my health and is always supported by my wife, who is a lady with tremendous patience.
Finally on 7feb I had my 1st dialysis by putting a permcath. It happened with no such pains, and my fear of dialysis vanished and I got excited to do it more than 3 times a week, without knowing the details of it.
Later my doctor educated me and I agrees for 3 times a week dialysis.
I was so happy to walk like before. My wife was jumping with joy like a happy kid,
It feels so nice and wonderful to see my loved ones were happy.
Thanks to science, my nephrologist and all other support caretakers.
Finally my dialysis started and let me tell you, except inital 2 sessions, I did not feel any problems, but I have to be in lying for long 4 hrs but was able to move my hands to drink or eat.
ReplyDeletePermcath using is not a such big challenge.
Which fruits are allowed to eat during dialysis?
